LIMASSOL MARATHON PACERS

Team Pickupthepace is back this year to support all runners and help them achieve their goals! Familiar faces return this year, such as Paul, Phil, Dan, Beppe, Emma, and Matthew Pullen!


Meet the Pacers:


HALF MARATHON

Jordan is better known as projectmarathongirl on Instagram. She will be pacing the 1:30 time of the Half Marathon race. She paces because she likes helping other runners achieve their goals! 

TIM BRUTON 1:45

Tim Bruton became a pacer because he likes to see the satisfaction in the runners' faces once they cross the finish line. Run with him for the 1:45 you always wanted!


HANNAH WILKINSON 2:00

Hannah is a part of the Pick up the Pace team this year, and her goal is to help runners achieve their goals and making their running experience as pleasant as possible! 

PHIL JEFFERIES 2:15

Phil takes part in events as a pacer very often. This year he returns in Limassol for his second time as a pacer and he will be pacing the 2:15 time. He always does his best in helping the runners crossing the finish line with a smile! Phil says that he likes to pace and see the satisfaction and pleasure in the runner's face when they have achieved their goals and a new personal best.

Emma thought that the best feeling in the world is achieving a new personal best, until she started helping others achieving their goals! With contributing to other runners' success is a great way to give back to the community!

Danny paces because he loves helping people achieve something they never thought possible. Whether it’s just using the flag as a consistent marker, offering words of encouragement or a little bit of tough love, it motivates him and makes him realize why he loves running.

Beppe joined us for 3:45 in Limassol 2018! Beppe told us that he paces because he likes that everyone can achieve the best and he wants to help them do that.

PAUL ADDICOTT 4:00

Paul is honored to be back in Limassol in 2019, not only driving the sub 4 #funbus but also leading the Pick up the Pace Team again. He first took part in Limassol Marathon in 2017. All the pacers had a great time in 2018, and he is looking forward to being part of Limassol 2019. He loves to pace and being part of other runners' experience, to share memories that can last a lifetime, and try to offer that little bit of extra motivation so people can push themselves further to achieve their goals.

Jason paces as he wants to help others achieve their goals and aspirations. He feels that it is such a buzz to know that he is a part of helping them. Jason considers it very rewarding and addictive. 

CAMILLA LANGLANDS 4:30

Camilla has been a regular fixture at events such as London Marathon for years and she is full of energy. She is pacing 4:30 at Limassol. She enjoys socializing and meeting new people, everyone has a different story as to how they came to run – it’s wonderful. She thinks it is also important to give back to the running community and pacing is one of the ways she can do that.

Matthew likes to give back his knowledge to other runners and especially give them encouragement when they need it.

Jacquelin is a veteran of many marathons and has a wealth of experience pacing them. She joins us in 2019 to pace sub 5 marathon. She paces because she is passionate about running and wants to encourage others in any way she can on their running journeys.
